Senior Content & Communications Specialist

We’re growing!!  And looking for a passionate, driven and energetic candidate to join our team for the position of Content Marketing & Communications Specialist located at our Head Office in Guelph, Ontario.

Job Description

Looking for a chance to make your mark in a fast-paced, professional and fun environment? As our Content Marketing & Communications Specialist, you would be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of the Skyline Group of Companies' internal and external communication activity. This will include writing, reviewing, and editing communication pieces to ensure a consistent brand identity as well as growing the profile of each of the companies while maintaining focus on our shared goal of creating meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, our people and our communities. 

What we look for:

• You love to write - you can make serious topics engaging and explain complex ideas in a way that’s clear, accurate, and professional.
• Experienced in writing across multiple formats - blogs, external articles, press releases, emails, and web content. 
• Skilled in social media, SEO, SEM, and the Google AdWords platform.
• Flexibility - not in a yoga kind of way, but more about being able to change gears quickly as our business needs evolve.  
• Strategy expert, we can depend on you to suggest the best course of action.
• Proven track record in project management practices and can overcome issues by using your organizational skills.
• Professionalism - it means so many things, but to us its about taking pride in the quality of service we provide to our customers inside and outside the organization. 
• Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Post-secondary degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related field.
• Minimum five years of workplace experience or equivalent combination of workplace experience and education.
