We’re looking for a passionate, driven and energetic candidate to join our team for the position of Training Associate located in our Head Office in Guelph, Ontario.
Compensation: Starting at $47,000.00 annually plus bonus.

Job Description
As a Training Associate, you will assist with the coordination and organization of training programs, scheduling training sessions, and preparing learning materials. You will also assist in the development and maintenance of training resources such as presentations e-learning content and Learning Management System (LMS) while supporting our shared goal of creating meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, our people and our communities.


What we look for:

  • Ability to design and develop interactive training programs by partnering with managers and supervisors to help build the skills of the team in alignment with Skylines' values.
  • Familiarity with online applications such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) (e.g., Desire2Learn) and e-learning software creation tools is considered an asset.
  • Experience facilitating learning in a compelling way while utilizing a variety of presentation methods to accommodate adult learning styles and entice participation.
  • Strong administrative skills with a passion for creativity. 
  • Superior multi-tasking and organizational skills while remaining detail oriented.
  • Able to be proactive with good problem-solving skills, judgment and innovation.
  • Post-secondary education in Adult Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development or related discipline and 2 years' related experience in a training and learning environment.
