Finance Manager
We’re growing!! And looking for passionate, driven and energetic candidates to join our team for the position of Finance Manager located in our Head Office in Guelph, Ontario.
In this position, you would be responsible for providing reliable and timely financial information including the preparation and distribution of various financial statements to the business leaders to guide them in the decision making process while maintaining focus on our shared goal of creating meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, our people and our communities.
What we look for:
- Excellent finance and accounting skills and ability to apply accounting theory, principals and techniques. Someone who is able to “connect the dots” when reviewing large data sets and communicate implications or recommendations.
- Someone who recognizes that leadership is about service to others (not being served).
- An ability to work closely with internal business units to understand and evaluate key business trends for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial results (your super power is being a clear communicator).
- A partner for internal organizations and leaders that will ensure accurate reporting and financial treatment.
- Knowledge of mortgages, amortization schedules, interest rate sensitivity analysis, and/or exposure to construction, land development, or energy industries (we have a lot of different business interests).
- General understanding of investment markets.
- Possession of strong leadership and skilled in supervisory practices and principles.
- Degree in Accounting or related field with at least ten years’ progressive work experience in a similar role.
- CPA or CMA designation required.
