Development Analyst

Looking for a change? Want to make your mark in a fast-paced, professional and fun environment?  As a Development Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the Skyline Development Team in evaluating development opportunities, completing proformas, researching potential developments, and interacting with internal and external teams while supporting our shared goal of creating meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, our people and our communities.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing investment Investment Briefs, Investor Offerings, Feasibility Briefs, and Final Approval Briefs with supporting market and financial analysis to advance project funding.
 - Preparing and updating internal templates (e.g., financial models for multi-family rental, low-rise retail, and other developments)
 - Supporting the Development team by reviewing materials to ensure due diligence.
 - Providing Client and Investor reports, as required, using internal information.

- Excellent research skills.
 - Practiced in the set up and maintenance of spreadsheets and databases as well as organizing data to prepare reports and documentation.
 - Strong critical thinking as well as analytical skills.
 - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
 - Post-Secondary education in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is required.
 - Previous experience in the real estate industry is an asset.
 - Accounting skills and ability to apply accounting theory, principals and techniques.
