We are growing! We're looking for a passionate, driven and energetic candidates to join our Business Operations team for the position of Property Management Administrator located at our office in Guelph, Ontario for an 8 month contract. 

Compensation: Starting at $44,500.00 annually.  

As a Property Management Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Business Operations team, Property Manager's and Resident Manager's through data entry of all tenant related information, preparing A/R adjustments, revising aged accounts receivable reports, reviewing rent roll monthly, and preparing legal notices while supporting our shared goal of creating meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, our people and our communities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Act as the primary contact for tenant, property and commercial tenant inquiries, responding to calls, emails, and work orders.
  • Manage accounts receivable, prepare monthly reports, and follow up on outstanding balances. 
  • Process and track rent arrears documentation, including N4 notices, non-payment letters, and legal packages.
  • Handle tenant payments, refunds, depositis, chargebacks, EFTs, and cash receipts. 
  • Complete bank deposits, reconcile records, and update payment information in Yardi.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly tracking reports and receivables documentation.
  • Coordinate property administration, including work order, vendor follow-up, permits, municipal documents, and property-related correspondence. 

What You Bring

  • Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA), Ontario Human Rights Code, AODA and other applicable legislation
  • Knowledgeable in database management and strong data entry skills.
  • Understanding of residential property management or real estate.
  • Working knowledge of Yardi is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Able to be proactive with good problem solving skills, judgment and innovation.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with an enthusiasm for working with the public
  • Superior multi-tasking and organizational skills while remaining detail oriented. 
  • Diplomacy, but firm in response to aggressive behavior.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years post-secondary education or 3 years equivalent workplace experience. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
