We are hiring for a FULL-TIME, Community Manager in Welland, ON!

The ideal candidate for this role takes PRIDE in the work they do, has previous experience in administration, customer service, sales, and an interest in bettering the community they live in.

What you will be doing:

  • Responding to tenant inquiries, and requests in a timely fashion with a smile and a positive attitude
  • Thoroughly complete all necessary paperwork (applications, leases, etc.) and move-in & move out inspections.
  • Maintaining fire logbooks in accordance with Skyline standards, perform regular inspections, update fire safety plan as required, and keep diligent records.
  • Reviewing rent roll, and receivables, and communicating discrepancies, collecting/depositing rent, and accurately maintaining related records and receipts. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service through responding to all concerns and complaints from tenants within 24 hours.
  • Work to implement community programs and develop relationships with various community outreach programs
  • Working in accordance with the specifications of Skyline and in line with all applicable legislation including Health and Safety, Residential Tenancies, and the Human Rights.

  • You like working with others but can also work independently.
  • Understand how to effectively use technology including Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and other software-based programs/applications.
  • Previous experience renting apartments and assisting tenants required
  • Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act and Landlord and Tenant Board guidelines and processes
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Hospitality, Sales, or related field required.
  • Minimum two (2) years experience in an office administration of customer service role
