Human Resources Coordinator
We're looking for a people-focused, detail-loving, problem-solving Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at our Head Office in Guelph, Ontario for an 18 month contract.
Compensation: Starting at $60,000.00 annually, plus bonus.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll support a wide range of HR initiatives including recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, leave administration, health and safety, training, HR systems, employee communications, and process improvement. You'll work closely with managers across the business, help create a positive employee experience, and keep our HR operations running smoothly behind the scenes.
What We're Looking For
- A recruitment pro who can confidently move candidates from application to offer.
- Experience supporting employee relations, leaves of absence, health and safety, and day-to-day HR operations.
- Comfortable providing guidance to managers and helping navigate the occasional tricky people situation.
- Someone who can switch seamlessly between interviewing candidates, answering a payroll question, coordinating onboarding, and drafting an employee letter.
- Experience working with HR systems and maintaining accurate employee records, because details matter.
- A curious learner who enjoys finding new ways to improve HR programs, processes, and the overall employee experience.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources (or a related field) and approximately three years of HR experience. CHRP designation, or progress towards designation, is considered an asset.
- The people. We may be biased, but we genuinely believe we have one of the best teams around. You'll work alongside supportive, knowledgeable colleagues who are always willing to lend a hand, share ideas, and celebrate successes together.
- The growth. Whether you're looking to deepen your HR expertise, lead projects, earn your CHRP, or take the next step in your career, we'll support you along the way.
- The variety. No two days are the same. If you enjoy solving problems, collaborating with different teams, and being involved in everything from recruitment to culture initiatives, you'll feel right at home.
- The rewards. We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, a paid volunteer day, professional development opportunities, employee perks, and programs designed to support your wellbeing.
