We’re growing! And looking for passionate, driven and energetic candidates to join our team for the position of Senior Portfolio Manager to oversee industrial properties. 

Job Description: 

Looking for a chance to make your mark in a fast-paced, professional and fun environment? As a Senior Portfolio Manager, you will have the responsibility responsible for professionally managing a portfolio of properties by leading an efficient and profitable operation, while ensuring ongoing tenant satisfaction and retention. This position will also oversee and provide training and development of new and current Portfolio Managers/Associate Portfolio Managers/Building Operators. This position offers so much variety that you’ll never get bored! 

What we look for:

  • Extensive experience with all aspects of retail property management. You are the all-knowing-one. 
  • Effectively lead others, including suppliers, trades people and subordinates. We have lots of awesome people who work here and they need just as awesome of a leader. 
  • Able to competently review and understand financial statements. 
  • Ability to negotiate and prepare service agreements.
  • Demonstrate confidence working under pressure and maintaining composure in challenging situations. Ain't river wide, ain't no valley low, ain't mountain high enough to stop youuuuu. 
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of property management and of applicable federal, provincial and local laws and regulations. 
  • Communication, communication communication! Did we say communication? Yes, excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, is a must. 
  • Able to be proactive with good problem solving skills, judgment and innovation. If you have a crystal ball that helps too!
  • Ability to travel often with a valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record and automobile insurance.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years post-secondary education and 3-5 years of related workplace experience or 7 years of equivalent work experience. High school diploma required. 
  • Enrollment in or completion of a recognized property management certificate program such as RPA or CPM an asset.
